To ensure the seat cushion fits your seat properly, measure the width and length of your seat — length being the front end of the seat to the back. Seat cushions tend to experience less wear and tear and work better when they are equal to or slightly short of the front edge of the seat. The width tends to be less of an issue as the sides of the seat can help keep the seat cushion in place, even if it is slightly longer than the seat. Seat cushions are usually measured with three dimensions: width, length, and height. The typical format for dimensions is width by length by height (W x L x H). For example, take the Royal Purple® Seat Cushion – its dimensions are 17.5” x 15.75” x 2” so it’s 17.5-inches wide, 15.75-inches long and 2-inches tall.
