An instantly adapting and rebounding comfort layer made from a super-stretchy material (Hyper-Elastic Polymer) we call GelFlex. It’s in all of our mattresses and we’re pretty sure you're gonna love it.

The Raw Egg Test is how we demonstrate the science behind why the GelFlex Grid feels so good. It’s soft enough to cradle an uncooked egg and firm enough to keep it held in place. Then we drop heavy things on it, to show just how much pressure the egg can take before it cracks (spoiler alert: it won’t) . What does this show? Imagine YOU are the egg –  all night long you’re getting spine-aligning firmness where you need it, with soft comfort to soothe pressure points like hips and shoulders. Not too soft. Not too firm. Just right for every body.

Trick question! It's both. Through the magic of physics, the Grid's columns give way under shoulders and hips but remain supportive for the back and legs.

Purple products won’t produce strong off-gassing; at most, there may be a faint “new mattress smell” at first that comes off as nutty or woodsy, but should quickly fade.
