Purple Luxe Supreme Mattress uses a Premium Coil Core as the base of the mattress, for the responsiveness and ease of movement that springs deliver. The Premium Coil Core is made from individually wrapped coils that each move independently, and without the squeakiness of old-fashioned springs.

Only Purple mattresses have GelFlex technology. Luxe Collection mattresses use a version called GelFlex™ Grid Plus that is specially engineered to deliver the support your body needs, with the cushioned comfort you want. Purple’s patented GelFlex Grid Plus technology has been used and tested rigorously for over 20 years.

Purple mattresses, with the GelFlex Grid and GelFlex Grid Plus, cradle your hips and shoulders, while delivering the all-over support and comfort you need for truly rejuvenating sleep. Plus, they don't sleep hot.

Your new Luxe Collection mattress is built with substantial materials, and so it requires a strong base to properly support it.

We recommend a semi-flex steel wire foundation. The strong steel wires will give your mattress the solid support it needs to deliver a superior night’s sleep, and without the creaking other bases may cause.

Note: your current wood or metal foundation or heavy-duty box spring may work, but we can’t guarantee it will support your new Luxe Collection mattress.
