We upgraded all three Purple Essential mattresses so more sleepers can find a Purple that fits how they sleep. The 2" GelFlex Grid® stays the same, with no changes to the original Grid experience. The biggest upgrade is the new SoftFlex covers, which look great and improve the feel, with added PrizmCool™ performance in the new PurplePlus. Model-specific comfort layers also adjust the cushioning and pressure relief to improve the feel of all three models.
